Pepe willing to wait for deal.

Real Madrid defender Pepe says he is willing to wait until Los Blancos are set to renew his contract at the Bernabeu.

The 33-year-old, whose current deal expires at the end of the campaign, is in no rush and will wait until “the last millisecond” for the European champions hand him an extension.

Speaking to Cadena SER, the Portuguese- who is willing to retire at Real Madrid - said: “I am comfortable at Real Madrid. I have a contract and I will wait until the last millisecond for Madrid. There is time, there is one year.

“Yes, I would like to retire here, although I would accept one [more] year perfectly. I had offers from other teams for more years last year and I told my representative that I stay here.”
