Hull City Caretaker boss Mike Phelan is hoping the Tigers can attract some players following their good start to the season.
Phelan, who was Sir Alex Ferguson's assistant at Old Trafford, saw his Hull side seal back-to-back wins over Premier League champions Leicester City and Swansea City as he hopes players with the "right character and determination" can fancy coming to the KCOM stadium.
"The two results hopefully will make players want to come to this football club," said Phelan, as skysports.com reported.
"We are looking to enhance this squad and hopefully now they'll have a different look about it when it comes to playing for this football club.
"The pleasing thing is that the players have said to others 'come and join this football club', so hopefully we can get some deals done.
"If players want to give it a go, and they've got the right character and determination and they fancy coming to Hull, then we'll have you.
"But you have to fall in to how these players go about their work."
