Ex-Manchester United defender Phil Neville hails Jordan Henderson, saying he is a coach's dream and backs the England midfielder to become Liverpool's next captain.
The former Sunderland midfielder Henderson assisted Fabio Borini for the first goal at Villa Park on Saturday before Rickie Lambert's 79th minute goal secured the win.
Henderson who captained Brendan Rodgers' side for the triumph over Aston Villa has been impressive this season and Phil Neville reckons he is now a key player in the Liverpool team.
“There’s going to be a massive hole when Steven Gerrard leaves Liverpool,” Neville told BBC Sport.
“Jordan Henderson is a coach’s dream. He can play anywhere on the pitch and will get on with it.
“After a sticky start to the season he is bang in form and he can become a captain of Liverpool.”
