Pochettino delighted with goalless draw against Man Utd.

Tottenham boss Pochettino was delighted with his team after their goalless draw against the Red Devils.

Louis van Gaal's team dorminated the first 45 minutes and failed to take their chances after Robin van Persie, Radamel Falcao, Rooney and Juan Mata came close to finding the net.

Tottenham's goalkeeper Hugo Lloris proved vital for the Lilywhites after making saves from Falcao and Robin van Persie.

However, Pochettino expressed his satisfaction with a point after the match.

“We are in a good way,” Pochettino told talkSPORT. “We need time to improve in every game and we need to set out our philosophy.

“We need to improve our game step by step, but I’m happy with the feeling after today. We showed we are solid and I’m pleased for the players.

“We are very happy.”

Manchester United [36 points] sit in third after the goalless draw and Spurs sit in seventh position with 31 points.
