Pochettino isn't sure if Eriksen will remain at Tottenham Hotspur.
Mauricio Pochettino says he does not know what the future holds for Tottenham midfield maestro Christian Eriksen.
Eriksen's future with the Lilywhites has been in doubt since he revealed early in the summer that he was keen for a new challenge elsewhere.
The Dane, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has been constantly linked with moves to Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Serie A champions Juventus. Nothing has materialised yet but the Spurs boss admits he isn't sure if Eriksen will remain at the north London club
"I don't know," Pochettino told reporters when asked whether the 27-year-old would stay in London as the Express quoted.
"My point is to help all of the players, my job is to support them all until they maybe decide to take a different way in their career."
The Argentine confirmed the remainder of Eriken's contract has nothing to with his team selection.
He added: "For me it is the same between a player who has one year on his contract and one who has five years.
"The selection is not for the length of the contract, it is for the performance.
"After five years you should know to avoid this question, because you know I will take the decision based only on performance and not personal situation with the club."
