Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino wants Spurs to be more aggressive at Arsenal on Saturday.
Pochettino who was appointed in the summer as Tim Sherwood`s successor is looking towards his first involvement in the North London derby, and will be hoping for a win after a 3-1 victory over Nottingham Forest in the third round of the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night.
“I know it’s a very important game for our supporters, a tough game,” Pochettino said in his pre-match media conference at Tottenham on Thursday.
“We need to be aggressive and show what we can do. I have played a lot of derbies when I was a player. Now I’m excited to be against Arsenal.”
Tottenham have lost their last three games at the Emirates Stadium and will be hoping to turn that around with a win on Saturday.
