Man Utd ace Pogba has been linked with several top sides in Europe, including PSG and Real Madrid.

Paul Pogba has poured cold water on reports suggesting Manchester United have offered him a new bumper deal.

The France international, who is currently nursing an injury, has got six months left in his contract at Old Trafford, meaning he now has a chance to negotiate new terms with foreign clubs.

However, there were reports from various English tabloids on Friday claiming the World Cup winner has been offered a new deal worth £500,000-per-week.

But a spokesman for the Red Devils midfielder has issued a statement to Sportsmail that contradicts claims of an extended contract offer from United.

The statement read as the Mail quoted: ‘To clarify media reports, Paul has not been offered a new contract in recent months. Paul is fully focused on his recovery from injury with the aim of helping the team as soon as possible.’

If United and Pogba do not come to terms over a new deal, the Frenchman could leave Old Trafford for free for a second time.

Since Pogba rejoined United from Juventus in 2016, he has scored a total of 38 goals in 212 appearances.

And, the 28-year-old continues to be linked with a move away, with the likes of Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and LaLiga giants Real Madrid reportedly keeping tabs on his situation.
