The Blues forward says Die Borussen are reaping the rewards for showing faith in young players like Jadon Sancho.

Christian Pulisic says one of the reasons why he was attracted to Borussia Dortmund years ago was because 'they give younger players opportunities'. The Chelsea winger has revealed his delight at how the Bundesliga giants continue to embrace young talent and praised Manchester United's reported target Jadon Sancho for the "amazing job" he has done at the Signal Iduna Park. "It's one of the big reasons why I was really drawn there when I was very young," Pulisic, who joined Chelsea from Dortmund ahead of the 2019-20 season, told Sky Sports News. "I think they give younger players opportunities and it's a great club to go and develop.

"He's done an amazing job since he came in and has obviously shown what abilities he has."


Pulisic, who was ruled out of action for three months due to a tendon injury, also admitted there various aspects of his game that he needs to improve.

"I want to learn to be even more clinical in front of goal continue to boost my numbers, get more goals and assists," the 21-year-old said. "I want to be stronger on the ball, being able to hold off players and those are two areas that I'm definitely working on." More: Inter boss Conte backs Lampard to be successful at Chelsea.
