Arsenal's recent winning streak came to an end when they faced Jose Mourinho's side at the Emirates on Sunday. The tie ended 0-0, despite Arsene Wenger’s players dominating most of the game.
The Gunners, who have a game in hand, now sit in third position in the Premier League table, a point behind second placed Manchester City and Wales international Aaron Ramsey gave his take on the match when he faced the media.
When asked if Arsenal could have won, he said: "I think so. We created a few chances, got into some dangerous areas but didn’t quite take the opportunities when we did get in there. They were very well organised and were happy with the point in the end."
On whether finishing second would be progress, the 24-year-old said: "I think so. It’s going to be quite difficult for Chelsea to drop the points that we need to go top. Second probably is progression from last season definitely and from a couple of seasons where we have been battling for fourth.
"We’re in another FA Cup final so maybe you can say that’s an improvement on last season," he added.
