Rasmus Hojlund's Aspiration to Follow in Erling Haaland's Path

Manchester United's young striker Rasmus Hojlund has set his sights on a future as bright as Erling Haaland's, even though he's not ready for comparisons just yet.

After his summer transfer move from Italian outfit Atalanta to Man United and impressive outings with the Danish national team, the 20-year-old has drawn comparisons to Haaland.

Speaking to TV2 about his ambitions to emulate one of football's finest in Haaland, the Danish talent expressed his admiration for the Norwegian striker: "Erling is the world's best striker, if not the world's best footballer." Although he prefers not to be likened to the star, he holds a strong desire to reach a similar level in his career.

The Dane recognises the significance of time and experience, noting: "I hope that one day I can reach his level, but right now, I think it is too early. Who knows? I am only 20 years old. We will have to see how it can end up."

With his future ahead and a determination to improve, Hojlund remains focused on his journey to potential greatness, driven by the example set by Man City's Haaland.
