Zinedine Zidane has quashed rumours linking him with a move away from Real Madrid, but also said things can change quickly in football.

Various tabloids across Europe have linked the Frenchman with a summer return to Serie A club Juventus - where he spent five years of his playing career.

But, Zidane confirmed that he has not been contacted by the Serie A club and he is solely focused on his job at the Santiago Bernabeu.

“There is never certainty that you will continue in any football role,” the 47-year-old coach said as Marca reported.

“I feel the club supports me, we are all working in the same direction, but we also all know how this works. It’s all about results, day by day.

“I am the Real Madrid coach today, but that can change. Nobody has contacted me, and I want to point out it is a joy to work with my players every day.”
