Richarlison couldn't believe it when he heard Spurs were interested in his services.

Richarlison was amazed at the initial interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison felt the “chills in his stomach” after he completed his move from Everton FC to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Lilywhites paid £60m to secure the services of the Brazil forward, and he has been handed the number nine shirt at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

It is believed Richarlison will be a key player In Antonio Conte’s side as the north London club are eager to start the 2022-23 campaign on a high, rather than the sloppy start they had last term.

When Richarlison was quizzed about how he felt following the initial interest from Spurs, the 25-year-old told the club’s official website: "I'm very happy for this moment. I remember when I was in Brazil and the offer from Tottenham came I couldn't believe it.

“And after I signed the contract, even more so because it feels like a dream. When I arrived here it gave me chills in my stomach to see my new teammates and a new home.

"I hope to make history here in this shirt. And now it's about working with the great coach I have, with my great teammates too, and make history in that shirt."
