Rio Ferdinand says he has nothing against David Moyes and describes the former Manchester United manager as a “gentleman” and a “great man”.
The former Red Devils defender criticised the David Moyes in his autobiography (#2sides), marking out some of Moyes` tactics during his disappointing reign at Old Trafford as “embarrassing”.
However, the 35-year-old now playing for Queens Park Rangers insists that there is no issue between him and the Scot.
When asked if he would like to talk to Moyes in person, Ferdinand replied CNN World Sport: “Yes, of course.
“I've got nothing against him as a person. As I said, I’m saying that he’s a gentleman, a great man.
“As I said, I've never had any bad words to say about him at all in that respect as a person.”
