Richarlison joined Everton on a five-year contract.
Brazil legend Rivaldo has heaped praise on Everton's summer signing Richarlison Andrade, saying he could be "really important" for their national team.
The former Barcelona star said the Toffees' attacker is worth the £40m the Merseyside club paid Watford for the 21-year-old, who has scored three goals in his first two Premier League starts for his new side.
He said as skysports.com quoted: "Nowadays it's hard to know if a player really deserves the money spent on him, because transfer values are high.
"I believe he'll justify the investment at Everton. He is making things happen.
"He's producing solid performances in the Premier League and is clearly a good player, with great potential that could be really important for Brazil soon."
Rivaldo won the World Cup with Brazil back in 2002 as he registered 74 caps and scored 34 goals for his country
