Everton boss says that Samuel Eto'o is a top professional and he is with the striker's effect on and off the pitch.
Eto'o secured a two-year contract at Everton in the summer not long after his release from Jose Mourinho's side Chelsea and has found the net three times in five Premier League matches for the Toffees.
The Cameroon international scored two good goals against Burnley on Sunday to seal a 3-1 win for Roberto Martinez's side and the Everton manager admits that Eto'o "is a player of the highest calibre."
"To have Eto'o is like a gift from the footballing gods," Roberto Martinez told reporters. "He is the perfect ingredient for our young players, the way he has been training has been of pristine professionalism.
"He is a player of the highest calibre, I am really excited to see how he can adapt into the second half of the season.
"Samuel feels excited and really stimulated to show everyone what he can do. He's enjoying his football and he does it in style.
"He comes in every day with really high standards, he always wants to do more and he is a big influence in that way."
Everton take on club Swansea City at Goodison Park on Saturday [1st of November] and Martinez will be looking to seal three points over his former side.
