City star Leroy Sane hailed their win over West Ham.
Germany international: It's good to have Pep's confidence.
The Premier League leaders Manchester City travelled to the capital to take on former manager Manuel Pellegrini.
The Citizens, who were missing Mendy and Bernardo Silva - both injured, thrashed the Hammers 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.
David Silva timed his run to score the first goal in the 11th minute before Raheem Sterling doubled the lead in the 19th minute as City ran riot over the east London club.
Leroy Sane, who set up Sterling’s goal, later scored a brace to wrap up the win.
Following the Victory, the Germany international, who has scored in each of his last three top-flight games, said his side have more room for improvement.
"We played a really good game going forward, also defensively," said Sane.
"But we gave the opponent too many chances to put us under pressure. They were really confident and kept going even when we were winning 3-0.
"It's always difficult after the international break, when everyone is coming back together after 10 days playing for their national teams. But, overall, really good."
Sane now has five Premier League goals this season.
"I always try to give my best for the team," he added. "The manger is putting me in the starting eleven. It's good to have his confidence."
