Sarri said getting back to winning ways was the most important thing after Chelsea secured a win over Fulham.
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri was pleased with how his side bounced back to winning ways after last week's defeat to Tottenham.
The Italian insisted after the west London derby win over Fulham that the result was key. The Blues played out a 2-0 win over Claudio Ranier's team at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
Pedro's fourth-minute opener put the homeside in the driver's seat before substitute Ruben Loftus-Cheek wrapped up the win in the 82nd minute as Chelsea moved up to third spot in the Premier League, seven points off leaders Manchester City.
"I think that we were a little tense," he said as Sky Sports quoted. "We defended a little better than in the last match, of course. We can do better in the offensive phase, but today the result was more important.
"We gave more attention to the defensive phase today in order to kill the match and got a very good reaction for the level of application and attention.
"Now we have to start to play our football in a better way."
