SCHWEINSTEIGER SET FOR BAYERN TALKS. German midfield star Bastian Schweinsteiger is “flattered” by reported interest from Manchester United, says Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. The Red Devils are looking to secure Schweinsteiger's services if he is keen on a move away from the German side, but Rummenigge is planning to speak with the 30-year-old, who has a year left on his current contract. Apparently, talks over a new contract doesn't seem to be on the agenda, according to widespread reports. "I spoke to Bastian Schweinsteiger on the phone while on holiday and we're going to meet again when he's back. "I'm not going to hide the fact that I discerned from these talks that he is flattered by the interest from England."
