Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is unhappy Christian Eriksen's future remains unresolved.

The midfield maestro is set to undergo a medical with Serie A giants Inter Milan on Monday.

Jose Mourinho says it isn't Tottenham's fault that Christian Eriksen's future has not been resolved.

The Portuguese criticised the timing of the Nerazzurri's bid for Eriksen.

According to widespread reports, the midfield maestro is set to undergo a medical with Serie A giants Inter Milan on Monday after the north London side accepted an offer off £12.6m.

"You can read what you want to read [into Eriksen being left out] - I just want to say that this situation shouldn't happen on the 25th of January," Tottenham manager Mourinho said of the Denmark international who is expected to sign a four-year deal at the San Siro.

"And it is not Tottenham's fault that on the 25th of January we are in the situation.

"The only thing I can say is Eriksen, since I arrived, he is behaving in a very, very professional way, with me and the team.

"Tottenham is the last one to blame for this situation, but to be on the 25th of January in a situation like this is not nice."
