Thomas Muller fuels Manchester United transfer talk as Bayern Munich star reveals special relationsh
Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller has revealed he has a close bond with Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal.
Muller is one of several big names linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer and the World Cup winner has already played for Van Gaal during the Dutchman's time in charge of Bayern.
'It's a secret for nobody,' Muller told The Independent.
Muller scored in Bayern's 6-1 Champions League quarter-final second leg against Porto to help the German side overhaul a two-goal deficit from the first leg.
And they will hope that he can inspire them to another turnaround in their semi-final clash with Barcelona on Tuesday.
Bayern trail 3-0 after a brace from Lionel Messi and a third from Neymar but will have home advantage.
'Louis van Gaal and I have a relationship that goes beyond that which is normal between a player and a coach. However, I have a contract with Bayern until 2017.'
