Tom Heaton clarifies future at Manchester United after talks with Ten Hag.

Tom Heaton has decided to remain at Manchester United after holding talks with manager Erik ten Hag during the club's pre-season tour in the United States, according to Manchester Evening News.

Despite interest from Hull City and newly-promoted Premier League side Luton City, Heaton has chosen to stay with the Red Devils, who he rejoined in 2021.

During the preseason, he has been prominently featured and even captained the team in their recent 1-1 draw with Athletic Bilbao.

The 37-year-old goalkeeper, who had his contract extended earlier this summer, currently serves as United's second-choice goalkeeper behind new signing Andre Onana, following the departure of David de Gea.

Additionally, Dean Henderson is expected to leave Man United before the transfer window closes, which might lead the club to consider bringing in another goalkeeper, especially after Nathan Bishop's move to Sunderland.
