Lucas Moura doubts Jose Mourinho would want to sell the 26-year-old.
Speculation has increased that Kane could leave Spurs at the end of the campaign after he refused to rule out a move away from the club.
Lucas Moura says he would like Tottenham to keep Harry Kane as the Englishman is a very key player for the north London club.
Reports have constantly emerged linking the England striker with a move away from Spurs after he revealed - during an Instagram live session with Jamie Redknapp - that he would seek pastures new if the Lilywhites do not match his ambition of winning silverware.
However, Brazil forward Moura is hoping Spurs' third all-time leading scorer Kane will be part of Jose Mourinho’s side beyond the current season.
The former PSG winger Moura said as Sky Sports reported:Â "It's hard to speak about the future, about a negotiation because it's a personal decision. I'm sure that every season Tottenham receive offers for Harry Kane. It's not me who has to decide, but of course I want to play with him in the next season. I want to stay with him because he's very important for us and it's not easy to find a player like him.
“Everyone knows he's a big player. He's very important for us, he's our striker and scores almost every game. I'm sure that Mourinho wants to keep him. He counts on him for the rest of the season as well as for the next one."
