Donny Van de Beek told what to do to save his Manchester United career after a mixture of injuries and poor form at Old Trafford
Van De Beek was left on the bench for Man Utd’s Carabao Cup win over Burnley.
Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has been urged to use the next six months to revive his career at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman has not been able to secure regular football following his move from Ajax back in 2020 [for £40 million] and as a result, missed out on the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
He also missed Man United’s Carabao Cup 2-0 win over Burnley last week and his omission has only shed more light on how far down the pecking order he is at the club.
You would have thought Ten Hag was the manager that would help turn his form around after working together in Amsterdam, but that hasn’t been the case so far.
And, ex-United full-back Silvestre reckons the 25-year-old will have to seek pastures new to save his career.
"We haven’t seen a change for Donny van de Beek unfortunately,’ Silvestre told bettingexpert. "He hasn’t had a lot of opportunities to start.

"We haven’t seen the player he was at Ajax. If it’s not within the next five-six months, till the end of the season, then there should be a change.
"Yes there are a lot of games to come so there will be a need for fresh players. We expect him to come from the bench and grab the opportunities. It’s hard when you don’t have a run of games. Let’s wait and see for Donny van de Beek."
