Thomas Vermaelen took part in some of Barça's Wednesday training session with the rest of the squad.
Barcelona have informed that nearly four months after Dr Sakari Orava operated on his hamstring, Vermaelen has finally been able to train for a few minutes alongside his teammates, who included B-team goalkeeper Adrián Ortolá.
The Belgian defender continues to recover from his injury whilst waiting for clearance to make his debut for Barcelona after they signed him last summer. He hopes to be able to play some matches this season. The other point of note from the session involved Dani Alves, who performed individual exercises separately from the group.
