Vertonghen could return from injury against Chelsea.
Jan Vertonghen could return to first-team action for Tottenham against Chelsea on Saturday, Mauricio Pochettino confirmed today.
The Belgium defender, who has been sidelined for almost two months due to a hamstring injury, is back in full training and he'll be keen to get minutes under his belt.
When Pochettino was asked if he would play against the Blues this weekend, the Spurs boss said as Goal reported: "It is very good news, he has been training with the group. We have to wait until tomorrow to see whether he can be involved.
"Jan is such an important player for us. We have a very busy period ahead so it's important to recover our players."
