Santi Cazorla expressed his delight as Arsenal beat Watford 3-1 at Vicarage Road on Saturday.
The Spanish midfield maestro broke the deadlock from the penalty spot, before Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil made it 3-0 at half-time.
The Hornets registered a goal through Roberto Pereyra in the second half but weren't able to secure a comeback and following the win, Cazorla told Arsenal Player: "It was a great performance because here it’s always difficult to win. They have a great team, long balls all the time. We need to concentrate for 90 minutes so it’s the best thing for us, the first win of the league so we are very happy."
Regarding the spirit in the Gunners dressing room, he said: "Yes [the spirit is good] because after one point in two games we needed to win today. So we are happy now, it’s confidence for the team. Now we have to rest a week, some players play with national teams and after that we have to think about Southampton at home and we need to win at home."
And on on summer signing Xhaka, Cazorla added: "He’s a great player, we have a lot of players in this position, great players like Coquelin, Elneny, Jack Wilshere. So it’s very important to play together and we are happy to play with him."
