Wenger: Mesut Ozil will improve his goalscoring record.

Arsene Wenger believes Mesut Ozil will improve his goalscoring form. The former Real Madrid attacking midfielder has scored five goals in 17 Premier League matches for the Gunners so far, but Wenger is convinced Ozil can improve his goal tally in the second half of the season. "I still think there is a gap between his potential finishing and the way he does," Wenger said at his pre-match media conference. "In training he finishes better than the games and I'm convinced his percentage of finishing will go up in the coming months. He is a huge player." Arsenal beat West Brom 1-0 on Boxing Day, and are looking to do the same when they host Crystal Palace on New Year's Day.
