Wojciech Szczesny will return, admits Wenger.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed the club's no.1 shot-stopper will start in the FA Cup fifth-round clash against Middlesbrough on Sunday.

Wojciech Szczesny has an opportunity to return to the starting line-up after being kept out by an inform David Ospina.

However, the French boss has confirmed Szczesny, who has been out since January's fourth-round win over Brighton & Hove Abion, will start their FA Cup fifth-round clash against The Boro at the Emirates.

“[He has responded] very well,” the manager said, as the club's official website quoted. “He’s very good in training. He responded in a very determined and focused way.

“He’s ready to play. At the moment I feel I left Ospina in because he has done well but Wojciech is completely ready and has impressed in training.

"The competition is open," added Wenger. "At the moment Ospina [has] played and we’ll see in the future.”
