Zinedine Zidane issues rallying cry to his Real Madrid stars asking them to stay focussed and not get complacent.

Zinedine Zidane has warned his Real Madrid side that they should not get complacent because they hold a point lead over their rivals Barca at the top of the LaLiga table.

Defending champions Barcelona's return from the COVID-19 hiatus has been below par as they now sit in second spot in the league following a series of poor results in recent weeks.

Los Blancos host Getafe on Thursday night as the homeside look to make it six successive wins since the 2019-20 season resumed.

A home-win today for Madrid will push them four points atop the LaLiga table.

However, the French boss is adamant the title race is far from over in the Spanish top flight.

"We haven't won anything [yet]," the Madrid boss told the media on Wednesday as Sportskeeda quoted. "We have six games. Eighteen points.

"Until we are mathematically champions, we have to keep going, our rivals are going to do everything they can to win their games.

"No confidence and no saying, 'this is over'.

"I've experienced this situation as a player. We have won absolutely nothing."

The former Les Blues midfielder added: "I'm very happy and proud of the players. But we have six 'finals' left and one is tomorrow.

"We have to think about trying our best to win. We're good, but this doesn't mean anything."
