Manager Carlo Ancelotti has said again on Friday that Eden Hazard is unhappy at Real Madrid because of his lack of playing time.

The Belgium international, who signed from Premier League club Chelsea in June 2019 for 120 million euros, has failed to seal a spot in Los Blancos' starting eleven due to injuries and lack of form.

The 30-year-old has been a substitute for Real's last eight matches which has made him grow frustrated, with Brazilian youngsters Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo selected ahead of the ex-Lille star.

"Hazard is not happy. He has talent and is training well, committed, and deserves to play," Ancelotti told a news conference ahead of Saturday's La Liga match with Rayo Vallecano as Marca reported.

"He [Hazard] will have minutes but, as a starter? I'll have to think about it. If he keeps the faith, he will have an opportunity. Can be tomorrow [against Rayo Vallecano] or it can't. The important thing is that he is active and committed.

"I feel for him because it's easy to leave a player that is unprofessional on the bench, but that is not the case."

Los Blancos sit second in the LaLiga table on 24 points, a point behind Real Sociedad, with a game in hand.
