Carragher blasts Moises Caicedo's Chelsea debut as a 'nightmare'

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher criticised Moises Caicedo's Chelsea debut as a 'nightmare' after the midfielder struggled during his introduction against West Ham, reports the Mail Sports.

In the match, where Chelsea faced the 10-men Hammers, Caicedo was at fault for a penalty foul on Emerson in the penalty box, leading to a third goal for West Ham in stoppage time.

Lucas Paqueta converted the penalty kick, securing a deserved three points for West Ham.

Carragher strongly criticised Caicedo's performance, highlighting his rash decision-making and labelling the foul as a poor and lazy challenge.

Carragher said while on co-commentary on Sky Sports: 'Caicedo has had a bit of a nightmare since he came on. It's a poor, lazy challenge.'

Also, earlier in the game, Carragher commented on Caicedo's off-target shot with his third touch for Chelsea, questioning his goal-scoring abilities and role in the team.
