Sergio Ramos has urged England striker Harry Kane to put an end to his Tottenham Hotspur career and secure a move to Real Madrid this summer.
The LaLiga club continue to be heavily linked with Spurs record goalscorer Kane after they announced that French striker Karim Benzema's 16-year trophy-laden spell at the Santiago Bernabeu had come to an end.
It’s also believed that Premier League giants Manchester United are also interested in signing the England captain, despite Tottenham's reluctance to sell their star player.
There are also tabloids claiming that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will bring down the market price for the Englishman when they make a move.
The Mirror quoted Ramos, who won 22 pieces of silverware with Los Blancos, saying: 'My advice to any player is don’t turn down the opportunity to play for Real Madrid – it is a special club who know how to win.
'He [Kane] has an incredible physical presence, you can’t score as many goals as he does in the Premier League and not be able to play the physical side of the game.
'But also he can play the technical side of the game as well and I don’t think he gets enough credit for that.
'Yes, he is a great goal scorer but also he is a great football player as well.'
The 37-year-old added: 'What you do need to do though is bring in a quality forward who can come in and score goals. Not everybody can play for Real Madrid as there is so much pressure and expectation – so it needs to be the right player.'
